The Golden Path 黄金路 Episode 25 (Sneak Preview)

Synopsis: 林菲披上婚纱，嫁给凯杰，但心里思念的却是金龙。一波又一波的打击，使凯达的神志更加混乱，他冲出马路，结果被车撞倒。凯达意志模糊之际，似乎看见了金凤，他频频向金凤道歉，说答应了凯杰不说出真相。金龙听到，证实了金凤之死确和凯杰有关。
Lin Fei is marrying Kaijie but deep down inside she misses Jinlong. Kaida’s mental illness continues to deteriorate; he dashes out to the road and is knocked down. In a moment of confusion, Kaida thinks he sees Jinfeng and apologizes to her, saying he promised Kaijie not to reveal the truth. Jinlong is convinced Kaijie has something to do with Jinfeng’s death after hearing this.

Jinlong uses Kaijie’s acceptance of Hai Ge’s bribe to blackmail him. On the surface, Kaijie appears to be subdued by Jinlong but in fact he is plotting a comeback. Kaijie tells his superiors he has accepted the bribe in a bid to infiltrate the gang so as to be able to find more incriminating evidence against them. On the other hand, he looks for Uncle Biao to work with him in getting rid of Jinlong.

Rou Gu Mei accidentally kills Da Tou Qing when the latter holds her hostage. Kaijie leaves his briefcase in Lin Fei’s car. She answers his phone call from the condominium security guard and is curious to why Kaijie did not tell her he has a unit. Lin Fei discovers something when she visits the condo.

Lin Fei finds evidence linking Kaijie to Jinfeng’s death. Jinlong receives a call from Uncle Biao informing him that a shipment of contraband cigarettes has reached shore. He falls into Kaijie’s trap when he goes to pick up the goods. Jinlong threatens to reveal evidence of Kaijie accepting Hai Ge’s bribe if Kaijie doesn’t release Rou Gu Mei. Jinlong ends up killing Uncle Biao in the showdown.

Synopsis: 金龙挟持凯杰和林菲上游艇，要凯杰释放肉骨妹。金龙被凯杰一枪打中落海，大难不死，却瞎了一只眼睛。肉骨妹音讯全无。金龙为找肉骨妹，而潜回新加坡。林菲旧病复发，时日无多，要将遗产全数捐给慈善机构，其实她是以此试探凯杰。
Jinlong forces Kaijie and Lin Fei up the yacht and wants Kaijie to release Rou Gu Mei. Kaijie shoots Jinlong and he falls into the sea. Though he survives, Jinlong is blinded in one eye. Meanwhile, there is no news of Rou Gu Mei and Jinlong is forced to go back to Singapore to look for her. Lin Fei has a relapse and knowing her days are numbered, she decides to donate her inheritance to charity. Lin Fei’s real intention of doing this is to test Kaijie.

Synopsis: 肉骨妹的尸骨在荒野被发现，杀她的人正是凯杰。金龙欲替肉骨妹报仇，利用凯达引来凯杰，但没想到凯琪也跟来了。4人见面，勾起许多往事，凯琪和凯达都求金龙放过凯杰，金龙最后终究没有开枪。但凯杰杀肉骨妹的事终被侦破，警方欲逮捕他，他抗捕逃到国外，从此音讯全无。
Rou Gu Mei’s body is found in the wilderness and it is Kaijie who killed her. Jinlong is bent on taking revenge and uses Kaida to lure Kaijie out, not knowing Kaiqi has come along too. When the four of them meet, it stirs up past memories. Kaiqi and Kaida beg Jinlong to let Kaijie off. Jinlong relents and does not open fire. Kaijie is wanted by the police for murdering Rou Gu Mei. To avoid being arrested, Kaijie goes into hiding overseas and is never heard of again.

Shui Ling feels uneasy when Mei Xue regains consciousness and attempts to poison Mei Xue by spiking her medicine. Ha Sa Yan overturns the poisoned medicine and advises Shui Ling to stop her evil acts. Shui Ling is convinced that Ying Xiong is being punished for her misdeeds when he has a relapse and thus apologises to Mei Xue.

An Ping secretly returns to Mei Qi's home but has to hide when he sees Mei Qi. An Ping sees red when Zhong Shang confesses his love for Mei Qi. Li Shi storms to Mei Qi's house to look for An Ping but is chased away by Mei Qi who threatens to call the police.

Mei Xue is set up by Martin and meets with a fatal mishap when leaving the hospital. Mei Xue recognizes Ha Sa Yan is An Xin when he is praying for her and confesses to him that Ying Jun is not his real son but he is nonchalant about it. In her dying hours, Mei Xue finally recognizes everyone.
